1) MHRD propelled SAMARTH, the e-administration portal:

MHRD ने ई-गवर्नेंस प्लेटफॉर्म SAMARTH लॉन्च किया:

Division of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development built up an e-Governance framework, SAMARTH Enterprises Resource Planning , under the National Mission of Information Technology Education and Communication Scheme with the objective of providing students quality instruction over all colleges and institutions of higher education.

1) Rajnath Singh assigns two interceptor boats for the Indian Coast Guard ship ‘Sachet’:

 राजनाथ सिंह ने भारतीय तटरक्षक जहाज “Sachet”, दो इंटरसेप्टर नौकाओं को चालू किया:

On May 15, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh charged Indian Coast Guard Ship sachet and two C-451 and (IBs) C-450 interceptor boats in Goa where the occasion was held in Delhi via video conference. An ICG spokesman told that the ship ‘Sachet’ was first in the five seaward patrol vessels arrangement and was planned and constructed by Goa Shipyard (Ltd) as the ship is equipped with communications hardware, navigation, sensors, and apparatus. 

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने 15 मई को गोवा में भारतीय तटरक्षक जहाज (ICGS) के थलचर और दो इंटरसेप्टर नौकाओं C-451 और (IB) C-450 का संचालन किया। यह आयोजन दिल्ली से वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए हुआ। आईसीजी के एक प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि जहाज “sachet” पहले पांच अपतटीय गश्ती जहाजों की श्रृंखला में रहा है और इसे गोवा शिपयार्ड (लिमिटेड) द्वारा स्वदेशी रूप से डिजाइन और निर्मित किया गया है। जहाज संचार उपकरण, नेविगेशन, सेंसर और मशीनरी से सुसज्जित है।

1) Ministry of Health administering Sero Survey in chosen areas:

स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय चयनित जिलों में सेरो सर्वे करेगा:

On May 11, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare consented to direct a populace based Sero survey in the chosen regions aiming to track the pattern in COVID-19 disease pervasiveness. According to the ministry, the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR) and the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) will lead a sero study in the chosen regions where RT-PCR samples will be obtained for the surveying  throat and nasal swabs and this observation will be notwithstanding standard testing according to the current test rules.

स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय ने 11 मई को चयनित जिलों में जनसंख्या आधारित सीरो सर्वेक्षण करने का निर्णय लिया है। इसका उद्देश्य COVID-19 संक्रमण के प्रसार की प्रवृत्ति की निगरानी करना है। मंत्रालय के अनुसार, भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद (ICMR) और नेशनल सेंटर फॉर डिसीज़ कंट्रोल (NCDC) चयनित जिलों में एक सेरो सर्वेक्षण करेंगे। सर्वेक्षण के लिए गले और नाक के स्वाब आरटी-पीसीआर परीक्षणों के लिए एकत्र किए जाएंगे और यह निगरानी वर्तमान परीक्षण दिशानिर्देशों के अनुसार नियमित परीक्षण के अलावा होगी।

2) Center grants Rs.6,195 crore fund to 14 states to counter pandemic COVID-19:

COVID-19 महामारी से लड़ने के लिए 14 राज्यों को केंद्र ने Rs.6,195 करोड़ का फंड जारी किया:

As the second compared regularly scheduled payment of the Post Devolution Revenue Deficit Grant on May 11, the administration released Rs.6,195.08 crore to 14 states that intends to give extra assets during the COVID-19 emergency.

सरकार ने 11 मई को पोस्ट डिवलपमेंट रेवेन्यू डेफिसिट ग्रांट की दूसरी समान मासिक किस्त के रूप में 14 राज्यों को 6195.08 करोड़ रुपये जारी किए। सरकार के इस कदम का उद्देश्य COVID-19 संकट के दौरान अतिरिक्त संसाधन उपलब्ध कराना है।

3) National Aerospace Laboratory creates SwasthVayu BiPAP Non-Invasive Ventilator for coronavirus within 36 days:

कोरोनोवायरस के लिए राष्ट्रीय एयरोस्पेस प्रयोगशाला ने 36 दिनों में BiPAP गैर-इनवेसिव वेंटीलेटर स्वथ वायु को विकसित किया:

CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories Bangalore created SwasthVayu, a Non-Invasive Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure Ventilator to treat COVID-19 patients within a record period of 36 days.

1) CSIR gets clearance for two COVID-19 clinical medication preliminaries:

 CSIR को COVID-19 के लिए दो क्लिनिकल ड्रग ट्रायल के लिए मंजूरी मिली:

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has obtain endorsement for the treatment of COVID-19 for two clinical preliminary medications – ‘phytopharmaceutical’ and ‘favipiravir,’ where endorsement was granted by the Drug Controller General of India (DGCI).

काउंसिल फॉर साइंटिफिक एंड इंडस्ट्रियल रिसर्च (CSIR) ने COVID-19 के इलाज के लिए दो नैदानिक परीक्षण दवाओं- Scientific फाइटोफार्मास्युटिकल ’और and फेविपिरविर’ को मंजूरी दी है। ड्रग कंट्रोलर जनरल ऑफ इंडिया (DGCI) द्वारा मंजूरी दे दी गई है।

2) Jharkhand prohibits the manufacture, stockpiling and selling of pan masala containing Magnesium Carbonate for 1 year:

On May 8, 2020, the Jharkhand state government provided a request forbidding the production, stockpiling, dispersion or sale of Pan Masala containing Magnesium Carbonate in the state for a time of one year in which the request was passed by the state’s Food Safety Commissioner, Nitin Kulkarni.

5) The Defence Ministry signs with Tata Power SED for Airfield Infrastructure Modernization:

The Ministry of Defence marked on 8 May an agreement with M/s Tata Power SED (TPSED) to upgrade the airfield foundation (infrastructure) of 37 airfields for the Indian Air Force, the Indian Navy and the Indian Coast Guard, where the agreement costs about Rs. 1,200 crore as the agreement proposition was affirmed by the Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh.

Researchers from the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG), Dehradun have discovered an occasional progression in 220 flood type ice sheets in the Ladakh Karakoram Range through a careful evaluation of a portion of the Karakoram range’s significant flood ice sheets utilizing satellite pictures and thermal information.

1) India and AIIB conclude a USD 500 million aid agreement to COVID-19:

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has consented to an arrangement with the Indian government to give USD 500 million worth of funding to help India’s “COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health Systems Preparedness Program,” which will assist India extend its reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic and improve general wellbeing preparedness for the country.

After Styrene gas spilled from LG polymers plant in Visakhapatnam promptly toward the beginning of the day on May 7, 2020, in excess of 8 individuals died including a child, as indicated by Andhra Pradesh DGP, Damodar Goutam Sawang, there have been 8 losses up until now and one of them has fallen into a well while attempting to get away. The accident occurred in the morning at about 3:30 am.

1) US organization Vista Equity Partners to contribute Rs 11,367 cr for 2.32 percent stake in Reliance’s Jio Platforms:

अमेरिकी फर्म विस्टा इक्विटी पार्टनर्स ने रिलायंस के Jio प्लेटफॉर्म में 2.32 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी के लिए 11,367 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश किया:

Vista Equity Partners, a US-based firm, would soon contribute Rs 11,367 crore for a 2.32 percent stake in Reliance Jio Platforms which will be the third significant interest in Reliance Industries Limited in under three weeks. RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani said in an explanation that like different accomplices of RIL, Vista has a similar dream about proceeding to expand and change the Indian digital biological system to benefit all Indians, and that the company accepts that innovation’s problematic potential is the way in to a superior future for all.

2) Govt begins Ayush medications clinical preliminaries for COVID-19:

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan declared on May 7 that the clinical preliminaries of Ayush meds have been initiated for COVID-19 by the Ministry of Health where the preliminaries will be age old prescriptions like Yashtimadhu, Ashwagandha, and Guduchi Pippali. The Union Minister told that the clinical preliminaries of Ayush medications have begun on well-being laborers and those working in high-hazard territories, and that the preliminaries will be in partnership with the Ministry of Health to give quality treatment to COVID-19 patients.

1) Trade Unions seeks central Rs 7,500 cash help:

The central trade unions have looked for money assistance for every needy family amounting to Rs 7500 from the central government. Ten central trade unions except for RSS member Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh, have together composed a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraging him to offer money support of Rs 7500 every month to each non-income family that pays charge for a range of a quarter of a year.
