NATIONAL AFFAIRS:
1) Rs 16/piece, three-ply face mask until June 30:

NATIONAL AFFAIRS:
1) Operation Namaste was initiated by the Indian Army:
The Indian Army started an ‘Operation Namaste’ program to expand all conceivable government help in preventing the spread of coronavirus initiated on 27 March by Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane.
2) The Center authorized to 8 states more than Rs.5 Crore:
An additional Rs.5,751.27 crore was endorsed by the Government of India as a help to 8 states (Bihar, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan, and West Bengal) affected by floods, avalanches, cyclone ‘Bulbul’ and drought in 2019 which was determined by a high level council under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
3) DMF Funds for States to battle COVID-19:
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman recently ordered state governments to utilize DMF (District Mineral Foundation) assets to battle COVID-19, which is being done to support medical facilities that will help counter the Corona Outbreak.
