NATIONAL AFFAIRS:
1) At Jammu, Dr Jitendra Singh opened the CAT Bench:
डॉ जितेंद्र सिंह ने जम्मू में कैट बेंच का उद्घाटन किया:
Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of the North-Eastern Region, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh initiated the eighteenth Bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal for the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh via a Video Conference on 8 June.

2) IAF initiated Airborne Indigenous Rescue Pod for Isolated Transportation:

3) Madhya Pradesh launches a plantation project called “Thank Mom.’

4) Karnataka initiated the “Meghasandesha” Real-time data application and gateway ‘Varunamitra’ for real- time climate updates:

5) Odisha ‘s Cabinet grants “Bande Utkala Janani” state song of praise status:

On 8 June 2020, Odisha’s Cabinet led by Naveen Patnaik, Odisha’s chief minister endorsed the proposition to give state anthem of praise status to “Bande Utkala Janani,” a sonnet written in 1912 by Kantakabi Laxmikanta Mohapatra.

6) ARCI researchers create magnetocaloric material for Cancer treatment:

A group of researchers from the International Advanced Research Center for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) has built up a magnetocaloric material (an uncommon earth-based material that can be warmed or cooled by applying or expelling a magnetic field) that can be utilized in disease treatment, as indicated by the exploration work published in the Journal of Alloys and Compounds.

1) 2020 World Archery Field Championships because of COVID-19 deferred until 2022:

On June 6, 2020, the organizing committee of the World Archery and Yankton chose to defer the 2020 World Archery Field Championships booked for September 2020 at the Easton Yankton Archery Center (NEYAC), the biggest archery center on the planet. The choice would continue on 2022 to make sure about the prosperity of contenders and limitations due to COVID-19 pandemic flare-up, and Yankton would host the 2021 World Archery Championships.

1) Rajasthan CM uses video conferencing to launch Raj Kaushal Portal:
राजस्थान सीएम ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के जरिए राज कौशल पोर्टल लॉन्च किया:
The Online Shramik Job Exchange, ‘Raj Kaushal Portal’ made by the Information and Technology Department (IT) and Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC) was propelled by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on 5 June 2020 by means of video gathering.

1) The World Brain Tumor Day 2020 was celebrated on 8 June:

NATIONAL AFFAIRS:
1) CSIR-IIIM has obtained IND clearance for clinical trials on anti-cancer drugs:
CSIR-IIIM ने एंटी-कैंसर ड्रग क्लिनिकल परीक्षण के लिए IND अनुमोदन प्राप्त किया:
CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu obtained IND endorsement from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization’s New Drugs Division (CDSCO) for a powerful anti-cancer, New Chemical Entity (NCE) that is viable against pancreatic disease as the endorsement comes after the effective fruition of preclinical turn of events and the submission of the Investigational New Drug (IND).
सीएसआईआर-इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंटीग्रेटिव मेडिसिन (आईआईआईएम) जम्मू को अग्नाशय के कैंसर के खिलाफ प्रभावी कैंसर विरोधी न्यू केमिकल एंटिटी (एनसीई) के लिए केंद्रीय औषधि मानक नियंत्रण संगठन (सीडीएससीओ) के न्यू ड्रग्स डिवीजन से IND की मंजूरी मिली। अनुमोदन प्रीक्लिनिकल डेवलपमेंट के सफल समापन और इन्वेस्टिगेशनल न्यू ड्रग (IND) सबमिशन के बाद आता है।
2) Students from IIT-Guwahati create “Flyzy” mobile application:
आईआईटी-गुवाहाटी के छात्रों ने मोबाइल ऐप फ्लाईज़ी विकसित किया:
A team of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)- Guwahati students have created a mobile application named “Flyzy” for smooth and contactless air travel with the intention of providing contactless boarding, remembering the simpler stuff drop, manageable parking, better shopping experience.

3) Gairsain in Chamoli locale announced as summer capital of Uttarakhand:
चमोली जिले में गौरीसैन को उत्तराखंड की ग्रीष्मकालीन राजधानी घोषित किया गया:
Uttarakhand Governor Baby Rani Maurya affirmed the announcement of Bhararisen(Gairsain) in the region of Chamoli as the late spring capital of the State in consistence with clause (3) of Article 348 of the ‘Constitution of India’ where Dehradun (the biggest city) remains the winter capital.

डिफेंस इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ एडवांस टेक्नोलॉजी ने COVID -19 से लड़ने के लिए “ANANYA” नैनोटेक्नोलॉजी आधारित कीटाणुनाशक स्प्रे विकसित की:
The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune has created “ANANYA” water-based disinfectant splash with plan helped by nanotechnology that can be utilized by the overall population and medicinal services laborers and can be utilized for individual and enormous scope purposes.

5) India will establish the first exchange of trade in coal:

1) India, China, held top-level military talks in Maldo, Ladakh in the midst of May 2020 deadlock and operationalized 2 new ITBP orders:
