NATIONAL AFFAIRS:
1) CAIT initiates the Bharatmarket which is a national retail internet business commercial center:
सीएआईटी ने खुदरा व्यापारियों के लिए ‘भारतमार्केट‘ राष्ट्रीय ई–कॉमर्स मार्केटप्लेस लॉन्च किया:
The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has reported the inaugration of ‘Bharatmarket,’ a national web-based business platform that, in partnership with a few innovation accomplices, will be utilized by all retailers.
कन्फेडरेशन ऑफ ऑल इंडिया ट्रेडर्स (CAIT) ने एक राष्ट्रीय ई–कॉमर्स मार्केटप्लेस ‘भारतमार्केट‘ लॉन्च करने की घोषणा की है। इसका उपयोग सभी खुदरा व्यापारियों के लिए कई प्रौद्योगिकी भागीदारों के सहयोग से किया जाएगा।
2) PM holds a gathering to improve the agrarian division and increasing the pay of the ranchers:

PM Narendra Modi held a principle meeting on changes in the agricultural segment and rising ranchers’ incomes in India where the gathering highlighted the significance of the utilization of innovation in the agrarian area.

3) Yes Bank named its chief risk officer Neeraj Dhawan:

Yes Bank named Neeraj Dhawan as its Chief Risk Officer (CRO) with prompt impact for a three-year term in which he expected the charge on 2 May and supplanted Ashish Agarwal, the present CRO who will be moving to another position in the bank.

4) The US FDA calls for the utilization of remdesivir in critically sick patients with COVID-19:

The U.S. Food and Drug Authority (USFDA) has approved antiviral medication, Remdesivir, to be used for treatment of critically sick patients with COVID-19 in emergency.

5) Government of India transfers the second installment of Rs.500 to female recipient accounts under PMGKY:
भारत सरकार ने PMGKY के तहत महिला लाभार्थियों के खातों में 500 रुपये की दूसरी किस्त हस्तांतरित की:
The Indian government has announced the second installment of Rs.500 under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna (PMJDY), where the cash is transferred legitimately to the women recipients’ accounts.
भारत सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री जन धन योजना (PMJDY) के तहत 500 रुपये की दूसरी किस्त जारी की है। धनराशि सीधे महिला लाभार्थियों के खातों में हस्तांतरित की जाएगी।
6) Ministry of the Environment supports building a new Parliament:
पर्यावरण मंत्रालय ने नई संसद के निर्माण को मंजूरी दी:
The Ministry of Environment’s Expert Appraisal Committee endorsed the development of the new Parliament working at an expense of Rs.922 crore where the board of trustees cleared the dubious venture during its April 22-24 gathering. The new design was also approved by the Central Vista board.
पर्यावरण मंत्रालय की विशेषज्ञ मूल्यांकन समिति ने 922 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से नए संसद भवन के निर्माण को मंजूरी दी है। समिति ने 22-24 अप्रैल की बैठक में विवादास्पद परियोजना को मंजूरी दे दी। सेंट्रल विस्टा कमेटी ने भी नई योजना को मंजूरी दे दी है।
WORLD AFFAIRS:
1) On 3 May, World Press Freedom Day is being praised:
विश्व प्रेस स्वतंत्रता दिवस 3 मई को मनाया जाता है:
Each year, the World Press Freedom Day is observed on 3 May, with the intention of honoring the basic values of opportunity of the press and paying homage to writers who have devoted their lives to the practice of their calling and who are also focused around evaluating their condition across the world, safeguarding the media against assaults on their autonomy.
विश्व प्रेस स्वतंत्रता दिवस हर साल 3 मई को मनाया जाता है। यह दिन प्रेस की स्वतंत्रता के मूल सिद्धांतों का जश्न मनाने और उन पत्रकारों को श्रद्धांजलि देने का है जिन्होंने अपने पेशे के अभ्यास में अपना जीवन लगा दिया है। यह दिन दुनिया भर में अपने राज्य का आकलन करने के लिए केंद्रित है, मीडिया को उनकी स्वतंत्रता पर हमलों से बचाव करता है।
2) On May 2, the International Day of Astronomy 2020 was observed:

The International Day of Astronomy is observed two times in a year (half-yearly) once in the spring (in 2020-May 2) and in the fall (in 2020-October 5). Through perception meetings, exhibits and data corners in shopping centers, science centers and planetariums to raise open information on astronomy and the cosmos, expert and beginner space experts everywhere throughout the world offers their wonderful field to the Cosmos to the general population on this day.

SPORTS AFFAIRS:
1) Due to coronavirus, CGF defers the seventh period of the 2021 Commonwealth Youth Games to 2023:

The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) has delayed the seventh period of the 2021 Commonwealth Youth Games, organized to happen from 1 – 7 August 2021 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago until 2023 after a collision with the Tokyo Olympic 2020 dates deferred by one year due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
कोरोनावायरस (कोविद -19) महामारी के कारण, कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स फेडरेशन (CGF) ने कॉमनवेल्थ यूथ गेम्स 2021 के 7 वें सीजन को स्थगित कर दिया है, जो पोर्ट ऑफ स्पेन, त्रिनिदाद और टोबैगो में 1 अगस्त – 7 2021 से होने वाला था। वर्ष 2023 टोक्यो ओलंपिक 2020 के साथ टकराव के बाद एक वर्ष के लिए स्थगित कर दिया।

NATIONAL AFFAIRS:
1) IDEAthon was initiated by Jal Shakti Ministry:
जल शक्ति मंत्रालय ने IDEAthon को लॉन्च किया:
On 2 May 2020, under the Ministry of Jal Shakti and the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), the National Mission for Clean Ganga Operating (NMCG) impelled “IDEAthon” entitled “”Future of River Management”. The change centers around raising consciousness about the streams’ natural significance and financial value for supporting urban communities.
2 मई 2020 को, जल शक्ति मंत्रालय के तहत नेशनल मिशन फॉर क्लीन गंगा ऑपरेटिंग (NMCG) और नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ अर्बन अफेयर्स (NIUA) ने “IDEAthon” को “रिवर मैनेजमेंट का भविष्य” शीर्षक से लॉन्च किया। यह कदम शहरों की मदद करने के लिए नदियों के पारिस्थितिक महत्व और आर्थिक क्षमता के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करने पर केंद्रित है।
2) Center for areas with the largest number of COVID-19 cases incorporates 20 Local Public Health Teams:

India’s administration has established 20 Central Public Health Teams from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, where the change comes as directed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

3) The first State government to declare free and cashless protection to the individuals is Maharashtra:
महाराष्ट्र लोगों को मुफ्त और कैशलेस बीमा की घोषणा करने वाली पहला राज्य सरकार है।
On first May 2020, The Health Minister of Maharashtra Rajesh Tope declared that Maharashtra will be the principal state to give free and cashless protection assurance to the individuals and the secured under the state governments wellbeing plan and for the treatment of COVID-19 patients at the private clinics in Pune and Mumbai.
1 मई 2020 को, महाराष्ट्र के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री राजेश टोपे ने घोषणा की कि महाराष्ट्र लोगों को मुफ्त और कैशलेस बीमा सुरक्षा प्रदान करने वाला पहला राज्य होगा और राज्य सरकारों की स्वास्थ्य योजना के तहत और COVID-19 रोगियों के इलाज के लिए कवर किया जाएगा। पुणे और मुंबई के निजी अस्पतालों ने सरकार ने जनरल इंश्योरेंस पब्लिक सेक्टर एसोसिएशन (GIPSA) के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।

World Tuna Day is being celebrated on 2 May with the goal of increasing familiarity with the value of tuna and encouraging progressively sustainable fishing practices that will disseminate data on the potential effects of dramatically diminishing fish stocks and feature the monetary and social advantages of increasingly supportable angling rehearses (fishing practices).

2) US researchers find ‘Spinosaurus aegyptiacus’ as the first known aquatic dinosaur:
अमेरिका के वैज्ञानिकों ने पहली बार ज्ञात जलीय डायनासोर ‘स्पिनोसॉरस एजिपियाकस‘ की खोज की।
A group of researchers from different U.S. colleges have discovered a flesh-eating aquatic dinosaur called “Spinosaurus aegyptiacus” in the Moroccan Sahara district of Kem Kem in North Africa.
जर्नल नेचर में प्रकाशित अध्ययन के अनुसार, अमेरिका (संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका) के वैज्ञानिकों की एक टीम ने उत्तरी अफ्रीका में मोरक्को सहारा के केम क्षेत्र में “स्पिनोसॉरस एजिपियाकस” नामक एक मांसाहारी (मांस खाने वाला) तैरने वाला डायनासोर खोजा है।

1) BWF delays until November 2021 the 2020 World tournament:
BWF ने विश्व चैम्पियनशिप 2020 से नवंबर 2021 तक स्थगित कर दी:
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) delayed the 2020 Badminton World Championship from November 29 to December 5, 2021 which is usually held in August and will currently be played at the Caroline Marin Stadium in Huelva, Spain, on May first, 2020.

On April 31, 2020, previous world snooker champion Peter David Ebdon (49) of the United Kingdom pronounced his retirement from a 29-year sports vocation to prevent experiencing spinal operation.
