HR college of commerce and economics is a college of commerce, management and junior college based in the city of Mumbai. It is an A level college accredited by NAAC( National Assessment and Accreditation Council).
The college offers courses for four different study groups.
- Junior College (For 10th passed students who want to join college, it is equivalent to 10+2 degree from any board).
- Undergraduate(For 10+2 passed students from any recognised University/board).
- Postgraduate (For degree holder students)
- PhD

1.Junior College
The Junior college is a two year programme which provides with you Higher Secondary Certificate by Maharashtra Board.
The following four grades are provided to the pass-out candidates
Grade I (With distinction) 75% and above
Grade I 60% – Less than 75%
Grade II 45 %- Less than 60%
Grade Pass 35 % – Less than 45%
The admission to the college is through merit based that is who scores the more in 10th gets the seat of college.
There is no eligibility criteria for admission, you should just submit the required documents that are
SSC STUDENTS
A. Admission form
B. Original Marksheet with two attested photo copies.
C. Original School Leaving Certificate +2 attested Photo copies
D. One photo copy of the First & the Last Page of Ration Card (For girls applying for government freeship-staying in Maharashtra for more than 15 years and up to the third child)
CBSE/ICSE students
1. Admission form
2. Original mark sheet + 3 attested photo copies
3. Original Passing Certificate + 3 attested Photo copies
4. Original School Leaving Certificate/Transfer certificate+3 attested photo copies
5. Original Migration Certificate +2 attested photo copies
6. Original Character Certificate +2 attested copies
7. Transcript / Syllabus of passed subjects (1 copy)
8. Deed of Undertaking on Rs.100/- Stamp paper (Matter pinned with the application form for eligibility as in point Number 2)
9. One photo copy of the First & the Last Page of the Ration Card (For girls applying for government freeship – staying in Maharashtra for more than 15 years and up to the third child) Note: 2 photo copies should have original signature of the principal and not rubber stamp signature.
2.Undegraduate courses
The college provides 7 undergraduate degree courses namely
- B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce)
- BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies)(Business Management or Financial Accounting & Auditing)
- BAF (B.Com. in Accounting and Finance)
- BFM (B.Com. in Financial Markets)
- BBI (B.Com. in Banking and Insurance)
- BMM (Bachelor in Mass Media)
- B.Voc. (Retail Management)(Retail Management Tourism or Hospitality Management)

On completion of this add on courses you receive
1st year – award of Certificate
2nd year – award of Diploma
3rd year – award of Advanced Diploma
from University of Mumbai.
Eligibility for admission In undergraduate courses is that Candidate must be passed out 10+2 from a recognised university/board with at least 45% marks(40% for SC/ST) with following subjects English, Economics,Organisation of Commerce and Accountancy.

3. Postgraduate
For postgraduate degree there are 2 courses M.Com. with specialisation in Management OR in Accountancy under University of Mumbai.
Admission is based on candidate’s performance in their graduation B. Com. Degree.
4.PhD
The PhD is also offered with major in Business Economics and Business Policy and Administration.
The eligibility is M.Com with 55% aggregate marks/ M.Phil.
The selection is done through your score in Ph.D Entrance Test (PET) by university/ UGC- NET/ JRF/ SET followed by a Personal Interview.
