UPSC Civil Service (Prelims) Examination 2021 Postponed
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021, in view of the rapid pace of corona infection. Let me tell you that this exam was scheduled on 27 June 2021. Now this exam will be taken on 10 October 2021.
The examinations are conducted in three phases every year
Explain that the Commission starts the Civil Services Examination in three phases on an annual basis – Preliminary, Main and Interview. Through which officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) are selected.
Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination to be taken on 10 October 2021
According to a recent update, the UPSC has suggested that, “In view of the prevailing circumstances caused by the corona virus (COVID-19), the Union Public Service Commission has postponed the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021, which 27 It is June, 2021. “The examination will be held on October 10, 2021.”
Last year too, the Civil Services Examination was scheduled from 31 May to 4 October. The main written test is completed. But the interview stalled due to an increase in coronovirus cases.
The UPSC has also postponed other examinations.
For the selection of enforcement officers in the Employees Provident Fund Organization, the examination to be held on May 9 has been postponed. The Commission has informed the candidates that “Whenever a new date for the test / interview is set, it will be ensured that the candidates are given at least 15 days notice”.
