The schedule of the annual examination of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has been decided to change. The Commission’s absence of examinations for the months of March, April, May and June will affect the schedule of all further examinations. While postponing the April, May examinations, the Commission had also stated that the annual calendar could be reissued.

Due to no exams for March, April, May and June, the entire annual calendar will have to be revised. The SSC was postponed for the first time in March (CHSL) Examination-2019 Tier-1 examination between March 16 to 27. With the absence of CHSL Tier-1, the proposed CSSL Tier-2 exam is scheduled to be postponed to 28 June.

It was postponed after three days. Now the proposed CSSL Tier-2 exam is scheduled to be postponed to 28 June due to no CHSL Tier-1 examination. With the second exam not being Junior Engineer Exam 2019 Paper-1 between 30 March to 2 April, the proposed JE 2019 Paper-2 examination is scheduled to be postponed to 21 June.

The proposed stenographer Grade C and D examination-2019 was postponed from May 5 to 7 by the Commission. The decision on these exams had not been made yet, that now the schedule of the examinations of June has been decided to change. The annual calendar may be changed with the new date of examinations at the Commission meeting on June 1, after the lockdown ends on May 30. It may also release new schedules of postponed examinations in March, April and May.

SSC Central Region Director Rahul Sachan says that only after the government decides on the lockdown, the commission will decide the new date of the examinations. He says that now the entire annual calendar is set to change. With this, he told that it is now decided to proceed to the new dates of June examinations. He said that this may shock the Commission’s efforts to regularize the session of examinations.

Selection Post Phase-8/2020 Examination between 10 to 12 June 

Junior Engineer Exam 2019 Paper-2 Examination proposed on 21 June  

ASI Exam 2019 paper-1 in SI-CISF in Delhi Police, proposed on 21 June only 

Proposed Combined Graduate Level 2019 Tier-2 and Tier-3 Examination from 22nd to 25th June 

Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination-2019 Tier-2 Examination proposed on 28th June
