Professor – According to the Sixth Pay Commission (37400-67000 + Rs. 10500)

Assistant Professor – As per Sixth Pay Commission (37400-67000 + Rs. 8000)

Educational Qualification and Eligibility
MD / MS is required for the post of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. While maximum age has been sought for Professor and Additional Professor, 58 years, the maximum age of the candidate should be 50 years for Associate Professor. SC / ST will be given 05 years in the upper age limit, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for disabled candidates.

Work experience
For the post of Professor- Should have 12 years research or 14 years teaching experience in a related subject. For Additional Professor- 10 years teaching or research experience.
For Associate Professor – 06 years and minimum 3 years experience for Assistant Professor.
