Railway NTPC Phase I examinations
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is conducting the first stage examination for non-technical popular category (NTPC) recruitment (CEN 01/2019) from today, 28 December. In the first phase, Computer Based Examination (CBT 1) is being conducted in the first step of RRB NTPC for 23 lakh candidates. As per information released earlier by RRB, CBT is to be organized from December 28 to January 13 for 23 lakh candidates in the first phase out of about 1.25 crore applications for 35,000 posts in NTPC category.
Examination will be done in two shifts
NTPC CBT 1 is to be organized by Railway Recruitment Board in various railways in the zone from 10.30 am in the morning shift and from 3 pm in the afternoon shift. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes, however for PWD candidates the duration will be 120 minutes.
Rules must be followed
Several important instructions have been issued for this major examination by the Railways amid the Kovid-19 epidemic. It will be compulsory for all candidates to follow these rules.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and instructions issued by the Union Home Ministry and Health Ministry will be followed at all examination centers by the Railway Recruitment Board.
Candidates will have to wear a face mask or cover and be removed during examination by the exam controller.
Candidates will be allowed to carry hand sanitizer.
Thermal scanning will be done during admission at the examination center. Admission to the examination center will not be allowed if the temperature exceeds the prescribed limit.
It will be mandatory for the candidates to follow the rules of social distance within the examination center and the building.
Candidates will have to take the self-declaration form given in the admit card with them.
In view of the epidemic, biometric attendance is not to be taken at the center.
