Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) has issued recruitment notification for various posts. Candidates from the tenth pass to PG degree can apply online for these posts. This recruitment has turned out to a total of 490 posts including AE / OT (Electrical, Civil), Account Officer, Assistant Manager, JE, Telephone Mechanic, Lower Division Clerk. Age :
The age of application should be 20 to 37 years as on 1 January 2021 for AE (OT) / Electrical, AE (OT) / Civil, Account Officer, Assistant Manager-HR, IT.
The applicant’s age for Divisional Accountant, JE / Substation, JE / Civil, JE / Communication, Telephone Mechanic, Lower Division Clerk / Typist and Lower Division Clerk (Accountant) has been set from 18 to 37 years as of 1 January 2021.

Educational qualification:
Educational qualifications have been prescribed separately for all posts. Hence, read the detailed notification for eligibility for posts and other information. Knowledge of Punjabi is required for all posts. All candidates must have passed at least Matriculation or equivalent with a Punjabi subject.

Exam Pattern:

Online CBT exam will be conducted for recruitment to the above posts. The question paper will consist of multiple choice questions of 100 marks, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours. Questions will be asked from General Knowledge / Awareness, Reasoning / Numerical Ability and English Language, as per related posts. For all posts except telephone mechanic, the medium of examination will be English only. The minimum qualifying marks for the General Category of Telephone Mechanic is 50% and for the Reserve Category is 40%.
