Powergrid Assistant Engineering Trainee Recruitment 2020
NEW DELHI: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has invited applications from the bright, committed and energetic engineering graduates in electrical/ electronics/ civil disciplines to join as Assistant Engineering Trainee.
Interested and eligible candidates can register themselves online from January 20, 2020, through POWERGRID website – www.powergridindia.com – with details of their GATE-2019 registration number and other required information.
Last date of online application and application fee submission is February 7, 2020.
After successful completion of one year training period, the selected candidates can be absorbed in the company as Engineers at E2 level.
Candidates should have appeared in the corresponding paper of GATE 2019 and qualified in the same. The qualifying marks as declared by GATE 2019 organising body will be considered.
Candidates, who are desirous of pursuing further studies on the basis of GATE 2019 or need extension of joining time in case of selection need not apply.

PGCIL Assistant Engineering Trainee Recruitment 2020: Application Fee
If you are not exempted from payment of application fees (only SC/ST/PwD/ Ex-SM/ Departmental candidates are exempted), you are required to login to your candidate login section and then deposit non-refundable application fees of Rs. 500/-through online mode.
PGCIL Assistant Engineering Trainee Recruitment 2020: Selection Process
The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the relevant paper of GATE 2019, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
Eligible candidates should have qualified and secured a valid score in the corresponding paper of GATE 2019.
Candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2019.
Please note that only GATE 2019 score (Normalized Marks out of 100) is valid for this recruitment process. GATE score of 2018 or prior or GATE 2020 is not valid.
