KVS Exam Date Sheet 2021 released
According to media reports, the final examinations of Kendriya Vidyalaya classes three to eight will start in online mode from 01 March 2021. From 1 March, these examinations will run till 20 March 2021, that is, the examinations will be completed in one day. Twenty days in total. Not only this, the result of the final exam is also being announced by 31 March 2021. However, this is the likely date in which the change is possible.
As per the information given in the official notice, the examinations will be conducted both online and offline. The offline examination will be for those who do not have the facility of online examination.
This will be the paper pattern –
The final examination will be of 40 marks for students of classes 3 to 5. The question paper will consist of multiple choice questions of 10 marks, while 15 marks will be given for descriptive and oral questions. For students from class 6 to 8, the examination will be of 80 marks and the question paper will have multiple choice questions of 25 marks, while 40 marks will be awarded for descriptive questions and 15 marks for oral questions.
Descriptive questions that the students of classes three to five have to write their answers in one or two sentences. Whereas students of classes 6 to 8 have to answer these questions in at least one paragraph.
Other important information
To overcome limited equipment and connectivity problems in the exam, two or three different time slots will be placed for each class and four sets of question papers will also be prepared for each class. As per the RTE Act, no-detention policy for classes 3 to 8 will also apply. It is also necessary to mention here that the consent of parents is also required for offline examinations and the new academic session will start from April 1, 2021. .
