Judge Advocate General Branch in Army
The Indian Army has issued a brief advertisement for the 26th Short Service Commission (SSC) course starting in April 2021 under the JAG Entry Scheme at the Judge Advocate General Branch. The online application process for the Army JAG application 2020-21 is scheduled to begin today, October 13, 2020, at 3 pm. Qualified candidates in the Indian Army Judge Advocate General Branch will be able to apply for Army JAG Recruitment 2020 by visiting the Army Recruitment Portal, joinindianarmy.nic.in. The last date for Army JAG April 2021 application has been set as 11 November 2020.
Eligibility :
The qualification prescribed for getting a Short Service Commission (SSC) under the JAG Entry Scheme in the Judge Advocate General Branch of the Indian Army is a three-year LLB degree after graduation from a recognized institution or university or a five-year LLB degree after 12th. Also, farmers should earn at least 55 per mark in LLB. In addition, he should be registered with All India Bar Council of a state. At the same time, the candidates should be between 21 years to 27 years old.
Selection Process:
Candidates for the Army JAG Entry Scheme will be selected through the SSB interview. Shortlisting of the candidates for the interview will be done on the basis of their application. The SSB interview takes place in two stages and the entire process continues for 5 days. Candidates who have been recommended by SSB and declared as medically fit will be issued by the Army for training on a merit basis.
