GATE 2021: Exam date released
GATE 2020: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT- The Indian Institute of Technology) Bombay, has announced the dates for the GATE exam. Let us know that the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE – Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) will be held from 5 to 7 February 2021 and from 12 to 13 February 2021. These dates have been issued keeping in view the situation.
This year the institute has made some other changes to facilitate the students. Explain that this year the 2021 edition of the GATE exam will include the introduction of two new subjects and other changes including relaxation in eligibility criteria. The two new disciplines are Environmental Science and Engineering and Humanities and Social Sciences. With this, the total number of subjects has now increased to 27.
Professor Subhasis Chaudhary, Director IIT Bombay, while appreciating the new initiatives of the GATE-2021 committee said that new career opportunities are opened up, especially from the humanities and social sciences. Students applying for GATE 2021 can now also choose two subject papers. Details including the application and the new GATE 2021 update are available on the official website. GATE (GATE) 2021: Eligibility Criteria Waiver
As per the new eligibility criteria, students will also be eligible for GATE in the third year of undergraduate programs. GATE is organized with a scholarship from Shimla to Huanman Resource Development or MHRD for admission to postgraduate programs in engineering or science. GATE is organized across eight regions across the country, jointly at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee). GATE 2020 was organized by IIT Delhi on 1, 2, 8, and 9. February. GATE 2021 will be organized by IIT Bombay.
