Engineering and Polytechnic students promoted for the upcoming semester, examination held
Corona has brought considerable changes in educational activity. This year, students of engineering and polytechnics will be promoted in the next semester without taking the exam. The examination will be conducted by the university only for the students of the last semester. Jharkhand Technical University (JUT) has prepared a proposal in this regard, which will be approved in the Executive Committee meeting to be held on Tuesday.
This proposal has already been approved by the Academic Council. It is clear in the proposal that the marks obtained in internal assessment will be made the basis for promotion in the next semester. The Jharkhand Technical University Administration has directed all the colleges under its control to send internal assessment marks to the university headquarters by June 15.
Five new PG courses will begin:
Five new courses in Jharkhand Technical University will start from this session. It will also be stamped in the meeting. All these courses are PG level. This includes civil engineering, computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering. In all these courses, two teachers will be appointed on contract. Classes of these courses will be started from August.
Form for PhD entrance in June:
Applications for enrollment in PhD Course -2020 at Technical University will be invited in the first week of June. It will be online. The University Administration will soon issue a notification regarding enrolment. Enrolment will be taken through entrance test only. There is no proposal for any change in it.
