Community health officer recruitment
The Rajasthan High Court has directed the State Health Department to issue a cut-off of the CHO Recruitment Examination 2020. These directions were given by the court during the hearing of a related case on Monday, 22 February 2021. The bench of High Court Judge Justice Dinesh Mehta announced the successful candidates in written examination under the recruitment process of 6310 Community Health Officer in the State Health Committee for the implementation of National Health Mission in the state by the Directorate of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan. Instructions have been given to release the cut-off prescribed within 7 days.
The advertisement for recruitment on contractual basis was released on 31 August 2020 by the department under Rajasthan CHO Recruitment 2020. Written examination was conducted as part of the selection process. The results of the written examination were announced on 16 January 2021. After this, the candidates declared successful were invited from 1 to 3 February 2021 for verification of certificates.
The cut-off prescribed for the candidates declared successful in the department CHO recruitment written examination was not released and nearly two times the number of vacancies were called for document verification of the candidates. As part of this process, the candidates could not know how many candidates were shortlisted. A petition has been filed by some candidates in the High Court about this. The petitioners are being supported by senior advocate Anand Purohit and advocate Ashok Kumar Chaudhary.
