CLAT 2021 New schedule released
A consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) has released a new schedule for the General Law Entrance Test (CLAT) 2021. As per the new date, the CLAT 2021 exam will be conducted on July 23 in offline fly pen and paper mode. Earlier CLAT 2021 was to be held on 13 June 2021. However, the exam was postponed in view of the fatal outcome of the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
CLAT 2021 exam will be of two hours duration
As per the latest update, the duration of the exam will be of two hours. The exam will start at 2 pm and will end at 4 pm. CLT 2021 exam will be conducted in physical or offline flight mode. After the last date for submission of applications, candidates will be given an opportunity to review the selection of examination centres. The examiner board will try to accommodate the first and second selection of exam centers.
CLAT is a national level law entrance exam
Common Law Entrance Test is a national level law entrance examination. It is taken for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) and several other CLAT affiliated law colleges and universities. For example, CLAT is the gateway for admission to 22 National Law Universities across the country.
CGT 2021 UG Exam Pattern for Admission to Courses
CLT 2021 is a 120-minute test for admission to undergraduate courses, consisting of 150 multiple choice questions of one mark each. There will also be negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers. Questions will be asked on five subjects including English subject, current knowledge, general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning and quantitative techniques in the exam.
CLAT 2021 Exam Pattern for Admission to Post Graduate Courses
PG CLAT 2021 exam will also be of 120 minutes i.e. two hours. In this the first section will ask 100 objective type questions of 1 mark each. There will also be negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers. In the second section, candidates have to write two descriptive essays.
However, this time it has been said that there will be no descriptive section in CLAT 2021.
