The results of the 12th supplementary examination will be released by the CBSE board on October 10, 2020, on the official website. The results will be available on the official website of CBSE cbse.nic.in. The UGC informed the Supreme Court that college admissions can be taken till 31 October, after which the CBSE board has released the dates. A petition was filed in the SC regarding the conduct of compartment examinations, after which the court directed the UGC and CBSE to decide to release the results after admission in the current academic year. Thus the results are being released on time so that students can apply for college admission on time.

The Class 12 compartment examination 2020 was conducted between 22 September and 29 September by the Central Board of Secondary Education. At the same time, more than 85 thousand students have appeared in this exams. At the same time, the examination of 10 commenced on 22 Sept. and ended on 28 Sept. Around 2 lakh students appeared in this examination in class 10th and 12th. The exams for both class 10 and class 12 were conducted in the shift from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.
