Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) started the admission procedure to a Ph.D. program under the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF) through a direct entry channel for twenty scholastic offices, one scholarly center and two centers of excellence at IIT Roorkee. Students who wish to apply for admission to the program must satisfy the appropriate qualification measures and submit applications on the web.

The goal of the PMRF program is to draw in the best research ability in this way understanding the development dream through advancement and the chosen applicants will be granted a fellowship of Rs.70,000-80,000 every month, alongside an examination award of Rs.2 Lakhs every year (aggregate of Rs.10 Lakhs for 5 years) to pursue PhD at IIT Roorkee.

No application charge required: 

As per the announcement given by IIT Roorkee, there is no charge for the application procedure and Candidates who are keen on applying for the PhD program can do as such till 5:00 pm on Jun 14, 2020 where the online application process began on June 2 from 8:00 am.

Eligible candidates are expected to submit the application form to pmrfadmission@iitr.ac.in by email alongside appropriate scholarly qualifications and a statement of purpose of (SOP).
