Application for recruitment of pharmacist
News of work for youth awaiting the chance of a government job of a pharmacist. The process of application for the recruitment of 600 Pharmacist posts in the District Cadre is going to start tomorrow, January 7, 2021. Interested candidates will be able to submit their application in online mode till 30 January. The application process for these 600 Pharmacist posts will be done on the official website, osssc.gov.in. Explain that the advertisement for recruitment on contractual basis by the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) for the posts of pharmacists in the respective districts of the State Government and 7 Medical Colleges and Hospitals in various districts (No.III-11 / 2020- 255 / OSSAC) was recently released on 28 December 2020.

Who can apply?
As per the Pharmacist recruitment notification issued by the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission, the candidates desirous of applying should pass the 12th examination and a diploma in Pharmacy from AICTE and Odisha Pharmacy Board, a recognized institution. Also, these candidates should be registered with Pharmacy Council and should have valid registration certificate by the date of advertisement. In addition, the age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 32 years as on the date of advertisement. This will be the selection
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination conducted by the Commission. The written examination will be of two hours, in which a total of 100 questions related to Maths and English up to Pharmacy Syllabus, Practical Skill, HSC will be asked. Maximum 100 marks are prescribed for the examination. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. According to the merit list based on performance in the written examination, the candidates will be given deployment according to their chosen district and availability of vacancies.
