Chartered Accountant
One of the most common choices made by students preferring a career in Accounting is Chartered Accountant. Aspirants looking for a career as Chartered Accountant will have to take exams, conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI. There would be 3 examinations- CPT, IPCC and Final CA.
Being a Commerce graduate, you would be eligible to directly attempt IPCC exam which comprises two groups. On clearing one of these groups, you have to register for articles with highly experienced CA’s for about 2.5 years.
Once you clear both groups of IPCC along with the completion of articles, you would be eligible to attempt the Final CA exam. The Final CA also has two groups. On clearing both the groups, you will be finally entitled as CA along with your name!!
Masters of Commerce (M.Com)

The content covered is analysed by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA). You need to pass two exams so as to become a certified CMA. Certified Public Accounting (CPA)
