NATIONAL AFFAIRS:

1) Government permits the opening of all shops in rustic zones, with just independent shops in urban territories:

सरकारी ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में सभी दुकानों को खोलने और शहरी क्षेत्रों में स्टैंडअलोन की दुकानों को अपवाद के साथ खोलने की अनुमति दी:

In the late night of April 24, 2020, the Ministry of Home Affairs released an order enabling all shops with the exception of those in shopping centers to revive in provincial territories and all independent and neighborhood shops incorporating those in residential buildings to re-open in urban zones despite the continuous COVID-19 lockdown.

2) NGT gave orders to Center and State for removal of COVID-19 waste:

On April 24, the National Green Tribunal guided a group to administer the removal of COVID-19 waste in consistence with the rules as the Center and the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) group are formed. NGT Chairman Justice Adarsh Kumar led the bench and advised the Union Territories and Chief Secretary of States to intently track COVID-19 waste management, transportation, logical capacity and removal.

3) ISRO is accepting proposals for technology advancement for Indian manned space program:

NATIONAL AFFAIRS:

1) Government postpones Dearness Allowance increment till July 2021 for employees and retired people:

सरकार ने कर्मचारियों और सेवानिवृत्त लोगों के लिए जुलाई 2021 तक महंगाई भत्ता वृद्धि को स्थगित कर दिया है।

Because of the COVID-19 emergency, the central government has set the increase in Dearness Allowance to Government Employees and Dearness Relief to Pensioners on hold until July 2021 and as indicated by the official notification, government employees and pensioners will keep on getting the DA and DR at the present rate of 17 percent of the basic pay/pension.

1) The IIT-Roorkee professor created COVID-19 recognition program within 5 seconds:
