The notification of Multi Tasking (Non Technical) Staff Recruitment Examination, 2020 will be issued today, 5 February 2021. The notification of MTS Exam 2020 will be released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on the official website, ssc.nic.in. As soon as the SSC MTS notification 2020 is released, the application process will start from today itself. As per the exam calendar released earlier by the Commission, the notification was to be released only on February 2 and the application process was to continue till March 18. However, the Commission had issued fresh notice on 29 January 2021, announcing the release of SSC MTS 2020 notification on 5 February. Thus, after the new notification date, the last date of application is also likely to change now. On the other hand, the Commission has already fixed the MTS 2020 exam date from 1 to 7 July 2021.

Thousands of different posts of Group C under general central service in the offices of central government ministries and departments located in different states and union territories across the country through SSC MTS examination to be conducted every year at all India level. Candidates are selected for recruitment relative to vacancies. Through the process prescribed by the Commission, the list of selected candidates is sent to the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) of the Central Government for training and appointment.

Learn eligibility criteria

According to the earlier released MTS exam notifications by the Staff Selection Commission, the eligibility for the exam is 10th examination or equivalent examination from a recognized board. The age limit prescribed for the examination is less than 18 years and 25 years. However, the maximum age limit for some posts is 27 years. On the other hand, relaxation of maximum age limit is given to the candidates of reserved classes (SC, ST, OBC and others).
