CLAT Exam 2021 date extend
The date of the Law Admission Test Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) has been revised. The CLAT exam will now be conducted on 13 June 2021, according to the fresh notice issued by the Body Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) conducting the exam on Wednesday, 6 January 2021 on the CLAT exam portal, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. At the same time, the entrance examination date was set to be May 9 while the CLAT 2021 notification was issued.
Changed date due to CBSE board exam schedule
According to the notice of CNLU, the date of CLAT 2021 has been amended keeping in view the schedule of recently released CBSE board examination. The date of the CLAT was getting clashed with the board exam date. Explain that the CLAT exam is conducted for admission to the five-year Bachelor’s Degree (LLB) course and Masters Degree (LLM) course at various National Law Universities (NLUs) located across the country. Many students who appeared in the CBSE board exams appear in the CLAT UG exam. Due to this, the entrance exam date has been revised.

CLAT 2021 application from 1 January to 31 March
On the other hand, the registration process for CLAT 2021 examination is going on. CLAT 2021 application process started from 1 January and interested candidates can submit their application by 31 March 2021. Candidates can visit the CLAT exam portal, consortiumofnlus.ac.in for application.

Who can register for CLAT 2021?
Only those candidates who have passed 12th standard with minimum 45% marks from a recognized board can apply for CLAT UG 2021 exam. However, for reserved categories candidates only 40% marks are prescribed in the qualifying examination. At the same time, for the CLAT PG 2021 examination, the candidates should have passed graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.
