Educational Qualification: For recruitment to the post of ECGC Probationary Officer, the candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or institute.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2021): The minimum age of the candidates should not be more than 21 years and maximum age more than 30 years i.e., the candidate should not have been born before 02.01.1991 and not later than 01.01.2000 (both dates included in). Candidates of reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of online examination and interview. The online test will be objective type. There will be 200 questions of total 200 marks in this exam. To solve these questions, a time of 140 minutes has been fixed. There is a provision for minus marking. A mark will be given for giving a correct answer, while a mark will be given a -0.25 mark.
