Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission {RSMSSB – ISMSSB} has started the application process for the recruitment of Forest Guard {Forest Guard} and Forester {Forestman}. You can apply online by visiting the official website of RSMSSB, sso.rajasthan.gov.in. The last date to apply for the posts of Forest Guard and Forester is 7 January 2020.

Description of posts :

• Forest Guard – 1041 posts
• Forester – 87 posts

Important dates:

• Starting date for online application – 8 December 2020
• Last date for online application – 7 January 2020

Qualifications:

•  Forest Guard – 10th or equivalent examination pass
•  Forester – Candidates should have passed 12th class from a recognized board

Age Range:

•  Forest Guard – Minimum age should not be more than 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 24 years.
•  Forester – The minimum age of candidates should not be less than 18 years and maximum age should not be more than 40 years.
• Relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per the rules of Rajasthan Government.

Application fee:

• General / EWS – Rs 450
• OBC / MBC – Rs 350
• SC/ST – Rs 250

Pay Scale:

• Forest Guard – Pay Matrix Level – 4
• Forester – Pay Matrix Level – 8

Selection Process:

Candidates for these posts will be selected on the basis of written examination and physical efficiency test (PET). Those candidates who pass the written examination will be called for physical efficiency test. Physical efficiency test will be qualifying only.
