The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced the start date for CA January and February examinations. As per the CA exam date notice issued by the institute, the CA examinations to be held in January / February 2021 will start from January 21, 2021 in sequence of dates issued on November 7. The examination centers for the CA examinations to be held in the new year will be the same as those scheduled for the November / December 2020 examinations.

Admit card for opt-out scheme examination
ICAI informed through notice that a detailed schedule of CA exams to be held in January / February 2021 will be released after the last date of the opt-out scheme has passed. Also, CA Exam January 2021 Admit Card will be issued by the institute along with the examination schedule.

They will be eligible for opt-out scheme
In a notice issued on November 19, ICAI has also announced an opt-out scheme for the students going to appear in the CA November-December 2020 examinations to be held at 1085+ centers across the country. According to the notice of the institute, any students in whom symptoms of Kovid-19 are targeted during the examination program starting tomorrow, November 21, through January-February 2021 through CA exam opt-out scheme 2020-21 Can apply for the exam again. However, these students have to be submitted during self-declaration online application.

CA November / December Exam 2020 SOP to follow
The ICAI has issued a special notice regarding the observance of Standard Operating Procedures i.e. SOP during the CA Foundation or CA Intermediate or CA Final Exams starting tomorrow, 21 November. According to the notice issued by the institute on 19 November 2020, students who have symptoms of Covid-19, if they appear in the examination, will not only pose a risk to the health safety of other students and exam organizers, but also issued by various government authorities. Will also violate instructions and rules. The institute has said that it is mandatory for all students to follow the SOP issued by the central government.
