All India Council for Technical Education has announced a scholarship for Post Graduate Students of the year 2020-21. This scholarship is for special PG students. If selected under this, they will get a stipend of Rs 12,400 for the month. Candidates with ME, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, who have a valid score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), can apply for this scholarship. Candidates possessing minimum qualifications can apply from the official website of AICTE. To do this, the address of the official website of AICTE is – aicte-india.org.

It is also necessary to mention here that those candidates who have taken admission under Part-Time Courses and those who fall under the OBC category, are not eligible to apply for this scholarship program. Those candidates who come from the reserved category will have to give the attested documents support as proof of this.

What is written in the official notice –

If we talk about the official statement then it clearly states, “Documents in support of SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / Physically Handicapped Certificates should be verified by the Head of the Institute or the Gazetted Officer. SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / Physically handicapped certificate should be in Hindi / English otherwise it should be verified in Hindi / English by the notary officer or by the head of the institute letterhead. The student will have to upload both original and translated certificates. “

The scholarship will be given for a maximum period of 24 months or till the completion of the course. Selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs 12,400 per month.
