Good news for the youth, who are carpenters, electricians, fitters, machinists, painters, and welders as well as arranging apprenticeship opportunities in the Indian Railways in paramedical trade. Ravi Dibba Factory i.e. Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, the production unit of the Ministry of Railways, has issued an advertisement for a total of 990 vacancies in the fresher and ex-ITI categories in the above trades. Candidates willing and eligible to apply for these vacancies can apply through the online application form provided on the official website of ICF Chennai, pbicf.in. Know eligibility before application
The qualification prescribed for Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Apprentice vacancies by Railways has passed the 10th examination with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board and is National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade. Whereas, candidates who have passed the 10th examination with 50% marks can apply for fresher posts. Also, the prescribed age limit for all the posts is between 15 years to 24 years.
How much will you get a stipend?
Training of selected candidates for Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Apprentice vacancies can be started anytime after 1 October 2020. During the training, the trainees will be given the stipend stipulated.
Fresher 10th pass – Rs 6000 per month
Fresher 12th pass – Rs 7000 per month
Ex-ITI – Rs 7000 per month

Candidates for apprentice vacancies will be selected on the basis of 10th marks as per the merit list. At the same time, the merit list for the medical lab technician will be made on the basis of 12th marks.
