All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released a notification for Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-NORCET) to be held for the recruitment of 3803 Nursing Officers in various AIIMS in the country. Such candidates who fulfill the conditions of the notification issued by AIIMS can submit their online application by 18-08-2020 till 05:00 pm.

Important dates:

Commencement of online application – 05-08-2020.

Last date of online application – 18-08-2020 till 05:00 pm.

CBT Exam Date – 01-09-2020.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification-

Candidates who have successfully passed B.Sc (Hons) Nursing or B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc (Post-Certificate) or Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized institute or university and passed the State / Registered as Nurses & Midwife in Indian Nursing Council + Having two years experience in a 50-bed hospital after obtaining an educational qualification are eligible to apply.

Age limit-

According to 18-08-2020, the age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 30 years. The relaxation in the maximum age limit will be provided to the reserved category candidates according to the AIIMS guideline.

Application Fee –

For General or OBC candidates, the application fee is Rs 1500 / -, for SC / ST / EWS candidates, Rs 1200 / – has been fixed whereas for PWD candidates no application fee has been imposed.

Only applications made in online mode will be accepted for the posts of Nursing Officer.

Selection Procedure –

The selection of eligible and eligible candidates will be done on the basis of the CBT exam.
