The registration process for admission at Nalanda Open University {NOU} for the academic session 2020 -21 has started from 6 August today. Students who want to get admission in Nalanda Open University can send their application through online by 30 September 2020. Registration will be done online only. For this, students will have to log in to the official website of Nalanda Open University and apply their application from there.

Nalanda Open University has about 117 courses for which students will have to apply. Nalanda Open University has 28 postgraduate, 7 PG diplomas, 27 honors, 23 certificate courses running for which students can register by 30 September.

Women students will get 25% off

Nalanda Open University will be given a 25 percent discount on fees to women candidates who take any course. This information was given by Joint Registrar AN N Pandey of Nalanda Open University.

More than 300 study centers

Nalanda Open University has more than 300 study centers. Currently, due to Coronavirus, Nalanda Open University is being operated from the Camp Office in Patna. But it can soon be shifted to the main office being built in Nalanda.

Nalanda Open University is accredited with the University Grant Commission {UGC} and the Ministry of Human Resource Development as well as the Distance Education Bureau.

A senior official of Nalanda Open University said that the university may soon come up with a choice-based credit system and will try to affiliate itself with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
