The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for Combined Defense Service (CDS) Exam II, 2020. Those candidates who want to apply for this exam can read the terms of the notification carefully and submit their application by 25 August 2020 till 6:00 pm on the last date.

Important dates:

Last date for online application – 25-08-2020 till 6:00 pm.

Last date for submission of application fee as offline or cash – 24-08-2020 till 11:59 pm.

Last date for submission of online application fee – 25-08-2020 till 6:00 pm.

Online application withdrawal date – 01-09-2020 to 07-09-2020 from 6:00 pm.

Date of exam- 08-11-2020.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification-

For Indian Sainik Academy and Indian Officers Training Academy, Chennai – To apply, a candidate must have a Graduate or equivalent degree from a recognized institute or university. + Candidate should also be unmarried.

For Indian Naval Academy – To apply, a candidate must be a graduate in engineering from a recognized institute or university. + Candidate should also be unmarried.

For Air Force Academy- To apply, a candidate must be a graduate from a recognized institute or university (including Physics and Maths subjects in 10 + 2) or Graduate in Engineering. + Candidate should also be unmarried.

Age limit- Only those candidates can apply for these posts, who were born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2001.

Note- Relaxation in maximum age limit will be provided as per rules.

Application fee – No application fee has been imposed for candidates of female or SC / ST category. Apart from this, an application fee of Rs 200 / – has been fixed for all the candidates.
