Admitted to IIMC without entrance exam
The Indian Institute of Mass Communication or the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has decided not to conduct the entrance examination for admission to its institutions this year. The IIMC has taken this decision not to conduct the entrance examination in view of the increasing infection of the coronavirus in the country.
For your information, let us know that the admission of students in this institute is taken on the basis of entrance examination and interview. Various post-graduate diploma courses of journalism are conducted at IIMC.
Minimum Qualification- The student should be a graduate from a recognized institution with 50% marks.
This year IIMC will enroll students like this – Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has decided not to conduct entrance examination this year for admission of students in the academic year 2020-21. In the event of not conducting the entrance examination, the institute has decided that for admission this year, students were first shortlisted on the basis of 40:20:20 percent weightage on the marks obtained for their Graduate, Plus Two, and Class X examination. Will go.
These short-listed students will be called for interview. After the interview, the result or rank list of the selected students will be released for admission. This result or rank list will be released on the IIMC website. Also, the selected student will be notified by sending an email.
Let us also tell you here that through this entrance examination, the institute conducts entrance examination for admission in a total of 08 PG Diploma courses in its 06 regional centers.
Application Fee – For the application in IIMC, an application fee of Rs 1,000 / – has been kept for General category and Rs 750 / – for OBC / SC / ST.

Last date for submission of application – 14 August 2020 till 5:00 pm.
Shortlist announcement- 31 August
Date of online interview – after 03 September 2020.
Announcement of the rank list – 10 September 2020.
