The Delhi University (DU) has sent a letter to schools looking for subtleties of the online classes being led by instructors. The Delhi University Teachers” Association (DUTA) said instructors won’t fill the structure as it feels that the criticism could be utilized to reach a determination for online tests.

The HRD Ministry had looked for subtleties of the online classes being directed in focal colleges, following which the DU sent the letter to its universities on Monday, looking for subtleties of the quantity of online classes taken, a move restricted by educators.

The DUTA has kept in touch with the bad habit chancellor (VC), encouraging him to pull back the letter.

This is what DUTA wrote to DU VC:

“We express our articulate consternation at the methodology taken by the college notwithstanding the pandemic regarding behavior of online classes and the approaching semester assessments,” the affiliation kept in touch with the VC.

The Assistant Registrar, Colleges has requested that the universities give a “rundown of courses for which online classes are being held with the assistance of Google Classroom, Google Hangouts, Google Meet or Zoom”, it said.

“The letter doesn’t demonstrate with regards to the reason for which this data is being looked for, that too at such a short notification.”
