Delay in organizing JEE Advanced exam
The JEE Advance 2021 to be held for admission to Bachelor’s degree courses at various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) across the country is likely to be delayed. The proposed JEE Advanced Examination on 3 July 2021 may be delayed due to the circumstances arising out of the Corona (Coved-19) pandemic spread across the country and postponement of engineering examinations. Let us know that the April and May sessions of the JEE (Main) 2021 examination have already been postponed by the National Examination Agency (NTA) due to the epidemic.
Postponement of JEE Main delays the holding of JEE Advanced
Addressing the media, Director of IIT Hyderabad BS Murthy said that if the JEE Advanced 2021 exam is to be held on the scheduled date (ie July 3) then the postponed examinations of April month of JEE Main will be held in May and May. The examination should be held in June. However, due to the current epidemic situation and the lockdown in various states of the country, there is no possibility of conducting the JEE Main April 2021 exam. In such a situation, it is believed that the conduct of JEE Advanced 2021 examination is not possible on the pre-determined date.
Similarly, an official of the North-Central Zone IIT said during a media address that there is a lot of uncertainty regarding the conduct of entrance examinations during this time of the Covid-19 epidemic. The examinations of the Central and State Boards are currently postponed and the date of their holding has not been decided yet. After this, due to non-completion of JEE Main examinations, delay in conducting JEE Advanced 2021 is possible and there is no other procedure for IIT admission.
