West Bengal Health Department has released a notification for the recruitment of 55 posts of Medical Officer for deployment in Covid-10 Hospital. The Health Department has sought applications from qualified candidates for these posts. Interested and eligible candidates can directly participate in the walk-in-interview on 24 May 2021.

Selected candidates will be appointed in Covid Hospital

MBBS pass candidates can apply for the post of Medical Officer. Under the Immediate Recruitment Scheme, MO posts are to be recruited through walk-in interview. The interview could not be held on 12 May 2021 for some reason. The walk-in interview will now be held on May 24, 2021 from 12 noon. The candidates selected in the interview will be posted on duty at Covid Hospital. According to the order issued by the Health Department on 06 May 2021, the candidates selected on contract basis for two months will be appointed in Covid-19 hospitals in Howrah district.

Educational qualification

Candidates who are willing and eligible to work in this post should have an MBBS degree. Candidates will be selected through direct interview.
