In view of the increase in the number of Corona virus Pandemic infected patients, the University of Rajasthan has declared a summer vacation till June 30, 2021. According to information released by the Rajasthan University Administration, the university and all affiliated colleges will remain closed till June 30. This decision has been taken by the state government keeping the lock-down in the state and keeping in mind the difficulties faced by the students and employees.

Instructions issued to department heads to be available on phone

The University of Rajasthan has issued an official notice in this regard. The statement states that the campus will remain closed for all students and staff. However, the heads of departments and the principals of the college should not leave the headquarters without informing the university. The Head of Department should be available by phone if needed.

Classes will continue in online mode for postgraduate courses

The official statement of Rajasthan University further stated that the remaining postgraduate courses have been asked to be completed in online classes. Students and employees can get detailed information about this by visiting the official website of the university.

Various universities across the country have also announced summer vacations amid an increase in COVID-19 cases. In the last few days, on an average, 17 thousand new patients are coming out in Rajasthan every day. This is the reason that Rajasthan University administration has declared summer vacation.
